Overview:
Born of the unholy pairing of dragons and mortals, the Anakim first appeared in the world when the great black drake Galamadrix changed his form and spent one night with a mortal woman. Ever since they have struggled as a race to find their place in the world and among the other races. Considered to be little more than abominations by the church they have also learned the fine art of not making themselves known until it either cannot be helped or the swords start swinging. And although it is common knowledge that the Dragons of Arden consider it forbidden to engage in such a pairing, such offspring continue to be born, either out of curiosity or by some deeper need for companionship which one or both parents cannot find among their own race.
Physical Description:
Anakim males, undisguised, tend to stand between 6'4" and 7' tall, with females only slightly shorter. Both sexes are powerfully built and females suffer none of the prejudices that human females due because of perceived lack of physical ability. Instead of scales their bodies are covered with a thick leathery skin that makes them tough to injure and except for the lack of wings, their draconic blood is apparent for all to see.

Ability Scores: Anakim receive the following adjustments to their ability scores; +4 Strength, +2 Constitution, Intelligence and Charisma.
Medium: Anakim are medium sized creatures and so have no bonuses or penalties due to size.
Normal Speed: Base speed is 30'.
Darkvision: Anakim can see in total darkness up to a distance of 80'.
Intimidating: Anakim receive a +2 bonus to all Intimidation skill checks because of their fearsome looks.
Draconic Immunity: Anakim are immune to sleep and paralysis and depending on their draconic ancestor also are immune to certain attacks: Black: Acid; Blue: Electricity; Green: Acid; Red: Fire; White: Cold; Brass: Fire; Bronze: Electricity; Copper: Acid; Gold: Fire; and Silver: Cold.
Draconic Breath Weapon: Once per day an Anakim may use their breath weapon. The type of weapon is dependent on their draconic ancestor. A line is always 5' high, 5' wide and 40' long. A Cone is always 30' long. Note that this attack is a Full Round Action.

Blue: Line of Lightning, 6d8 dmg., DC 18.
Green: Cone of Gas, 6d6 dmg., DC 17.
Red: Cone of Fire, 6d10., DC 19.
White: Cone of Cold, 3d6 dmg., DC 16.
Brass: Line of Fire, 3d6 dmg., DC 17.
Bronze: Line of Lightning, 6d6 dmg., DC 18.
Copper: Line of Acid, 6d4 dmg., DC 17.
Gold: Cone of Fire, 6d10 dmg., DC 20.
Silver: Cone of Cold, 6d8 dmg., DC 18.
Natural Attacks: Anakim can do Bite and Claw attacks at 1d6+1 and 1d4+1 damage respectively.
Disguise: Anakim have the natural ability to cast "Alter Self" as per the spell up to 3x daily. They may do this as a Free Action.
